London Marathon 2020

The 40th Virgin Money London Marathon was held on October 4, 2020, under unique circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The elite-only event took place on a closed-loop course in St James's Park. Ethiopia's Shura Kitata won the men's race with a time of 2:05:41, while Kenya's Brigid Kosgei defended her title in the women's race, finishing in 2:18:58.
